Sustainability governance is done at the highest level through the SUSTAINABILITY STEERING COMMITTEE (SSC) – headed by our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO). In FY2022, KLK enhanced its reporting framework and added a tier of SSC reporting to the Audit & Risk Committee which is a Board Committee, before escalating the higher priority sustainability issues to Board level.

The SSC formulate ESG strategies and monitor compliance with sustainability-related policies and keep track of the achievement of sustainability targets endorsed by the Board. It is supported by the Sustainability Working Committee where operation-level sustainability matters namely current challenges, efforts and solutions are discussed.
